With Four of Bonnie Hunter's Blocks, it is starting to look like an invested project!  Block #4 is called "Birthday Girl", published in Volume #2,  Quiltmaker's 100 Block collector's edition.

Charity Finish

First - on the design wall, ready for assembly of the two remaining sections.
Next -- fresh off the long arm (inside shot)

Last shot is outside -- I was almost finished with the binding last night and wanted to take the picture before the sun went down.

The Helping Hands Quilt (our guild's charity program) finished at 64" X 88 -- the center used 4 1/2" Kona solid squares and same fabric used for the border.  The scraps were 2 1/2" X 4 1/2" rectangles. The pattern was inspired by a Shop Hop Pattern from a few years ago (Mama's Quilt Shop in Independence, LA.)  We are just a couple weeks away from the 2017 Shop Hop, so I need to dig out the mad money.

Baby Thunderbirds in Progress

A smaller version of  my "Thunderbirds" Quilt (Black Cat Creations Pattern) commissioned by a newborn's Great Aunt Ginny from Michigan.  Special thanks to Cheryl at The Quilters Garden in Fenton, Michigan who assisted Ginny with the fabric choices.  The top will finish at 60 X 60" and will be large enough for the baby boy to use for many years to come -- especially since high quality batiks are being used.

Just need to sew the blocks together and load it on the long-arm!  Almost done.

Sunday Sample

And then there were three!!!  Making the blocks in between several other projects -- I'm sooooo not in a hurry.  My hope is Bonnie will continue to design for the Quiltmaker's 100 Block series until there is enough for a nice size quilt.

The newest block, top left, is called "Midnight Flight" and was published in Volume 4 of the Quiltaker's 100 Block collector's edition.  (Note:  I am not going in order of publication).
