The Mystery Begins!

Yep, I have a thousand projects going on, but I would never miss the Bonnie Mystery!  Like many others, I could hardly sleep Thursday night waiting on the first clue.  I am making the smaller quilt, because I just finished a large 96 x 96 quilt for a Christmas present.  My colors are green, yellow, pink and purples...with white on white background.  I'm done with step 1, so now I have to wait patiently for the next clue.

For a look at the others -- beware, there are lots of them -- visit Bonnie at Quiltville.

Hi Jamie,
I love your color selections, those are some of my faves. Can't wait to see how the mystery unfolds,

I love your pastel colors. I think I should make a second one for my Sister since i have part one all done so fast. I slept fine, I knew it would be there whenever I woke up. Too many quilts we all want to make and never enough time. Gotta just go for it!

I'm doing this mystery quilt too. I'm following the oolors given, but I love yours. Maybe on my next mystery quilt I'll be a little more daring and venture into other colors. I'm a virgin at this, so I'm following all suggestions. This is so much fun!

Hi Jamie
As far as I can tell so far we are the only two who have picked this color combination. I also have the purple, pink, green and yellow with a more cream for a background. I am using mostly Michael Miller Fairy frost fabrics in mine, but not totally. I just love the sparkle that they give. I cant wait for clue number two either. I am finished clue #1 and will be doing the large size this time. Looking good.

I am envious of you adventurous people than can (seemingly) so easily choose alternatives to Bonnie's colors. I am deficient in that gene. LOVE your colors!

But with a maiden name like Patty Kelly I felt I should stay true to my Irish roots anyway, so I stuck with Bonnie's colors this time. I'm almost done trimming up all the units required for the king size quilt. Egads. Too late to change my mind now.

I have lots of pots on the fire too, but what is one more? SMile. Your fabrics/colors are beautiful!
