Post Isaac and Finish

A Finish!  Dusty Blues, snowballs and pinwheels.
 A close-up.
Shhhhhh!  Don't wake up my rubber duckies - so serious.  I understand my great niece, Jolie slept during the storm and never knew anything came along.

To all my family and friends, the eye of Isaac sat over us for several hours, however those to the East took on the brunt of the water while he sat nearly stationary.  There will be many months of recovery in those areas.  Here in Houma, we were out of electricity a couple of days, then the internet and cable returned -- and today we no longer have to boil our water.  Nothing we could not handle -- but my heart sure goes out to those who have lost so much.

I am linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times (another gal from Louisiana) for her Design Monday -- aaahhh normalcy!

I thought about you in Houma when the storm was raging. Glad you not under water. My brother's house has 3 feet in laplace.

We did fine in Baton Rouge, just about 10 inches of rain in my gauge and mayg 50-60 mph winds. Two shingles gone and a tree limb on the deck that was easily removed with no damage.
